The Locanda “Il Tufo Rosa” is located in the ancient bastion of the Orsini Fortress of Pitigliano, a town that stands on a tuff rock almost suspended over the valley and the main center of the hilly Maremma in the south-east of Tuscany in an area where lives surrounded by unspoiled nature. It can be easily reached by public transport or by own car. Public car parking are available nearby.

– From the north: along the coast via the S.S. 1 Aurelia to Albinia then in the direction of Pitigliano. Or from the inside via the Florence – Rome motorway to Orvieto where you can exit for San Lorenzo Nuovo then Pitigliano. Another itinerary from Siena on the S.S.2 Cassia to Acquapendente from here direction Onano for Pitigliano.
– From the south: follow the Aurelia to Montalto di Castro then to Canino, Valentano, finally Pitigliano. Inside from Rome for the S.S.2 Cassia to Viterbo for Marta, Capodimonte, Valentano and finally Pitigliano. Another route from the Rome – Florence motorway to Orte where you can exit for Viterbo, Valentano, Pitigliano.
